Avoid all processed foods that contain the following:
- White flour products, such as those in rolls, muffins, pastries, and white bread.
- White sugar, brown sugar, sugar in the “raw”, turbinado sugar, aspartame, and other artificial sweeteners.
- All artificial preservatives, colors, and flavors.
- All foods that contain trans fats such as hydrogenated oils and margarines.
- Corn oil.
