Daily Fiber Intake

“I would try to eat 40 grams of fiber a day, about twice what most people get. The easiest way to do this is simply to eat more fruits and vegetables. Raspberries are one of the richest sources (one cup contains 40 grams); their fiber is in the tiny seeds. Cooked beans give you 4 grams of fiber in each half-cup serving. You should also try to eat more whole grains and products from them, including cereals containing bran.” (p. 137)
